Bonnie Gilgallon has established a solid reputation as a broadcast journalist and stage performer since arriving in the Coachella Valley from Washington, D.C. 20 years ago. For many years, Valley residents hear her daily news reports on KNews Radio. She also created and hosted the weekend entertainment program, The Desert Scene on the same station. She has interviewed many local celebrities as well as visiting stars including Pat Rizzo, Peter Marshall, the late Jackie Lee Houston and Kaye Ballard, as well as Rita Coolidge, Linda Ronstadt, and the late Debbie Reynolds. A multiple Desert Theatre League Award-winning actress, Bonnie has performed in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Laundry & Bourbon, and others. And, she appears regularly at venues including Melvyn's, A.J.'s on the Green, Backstreet Bistro and 360 North. She also hosts Women! on KPSE television and wirtes for the Coachella Valley Independent. Bonnie was also honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in May 2017.
Brayan Mendoza's passion is film and television and he brings a youthful and exuberant interest in visual arts to the program. A college student with a background and education in film history, Brayan shares extraordinary insight on celluloid creations. He is also a native of Desert Hot Springs and has spent his entire life in the Coachella Valley. He is also very knowledgeable about literature and likes discussing authors and books.
